ORDER A BARE ACRE PRODUCE BOX

A QUIET REVOLUTION AND A NEW WAY TO THINK ABOUT BUYING AND SUPPORTING LOCAL

Why Choose a Bare Acre Produce Box?

At Bare Acre, our produce boxes are about more than just good food — they’re about doing things the right way.

We believe everyone should have access to fresh, nutrient-dense, high-quality food without breaking the bank. Our boxes are packed with seasonal, Irish-grown produce, selected for flavour, freshness, and nutritional value. It’s food you can feel good about — on every level.

But it’s also about fairness. We’ve opted out of the supermarket game — no 19c carrots, no race-to-the-bottom pricing that squeezes growers and leaves consumers with lifeless veg. We work directly with local growers (including ourselves!) who are paid fairly for their work. That means you get honestly priced, truly fresh food, and your money stays in the local economy.

How ordering and delivery work

Step 1

You choose your Bare Acre Farm produce box

Choose the Bare Acre Produce Box that best suits your needs and your household. You can add free range eggs, Ber’s brown bread, home made jam and farm flowers to your subscription. You can chose to make your order a once off, a weekly subscription or a fortnightly subscription.

Subscriptions are fully flexible and can be altered if you would like to add something to your subscription, can be paused if you are going to be away for any reason and even though we’d hate to see you go, a subscription can be cancelled at anytime

Step 2

Tell us how you would like to receive your order

You can collect your order at the Bare Acre Farm Shop on Saturday from 9:30 to 4:30.

We really like customers to collect as it allows us to speak to you and it allows you to visit the farm and see where much of our produce comes from.

If you are unable to collect, then you can opt to have your produce box delivered to your door on Fridays. Currently, we can only deliver to Loughshinny, Skerries, Rush, Lusk, Balbriggan, Donabate & Portrane.

Small Veg Box
Step 3

Early each Friday, our farm team harvest crops from our own farm, while our van visits, our trusted suppliers collecting items that we do not grow.

All veg included in our boxes is grown within 10km of our own farm by growers that we trust and who have a similar ethos and approach to ourselves.

Our boxes are packed and completed and our deliveries roll out on Friday Afternoon.

Boxes for collection on Saturday go to our cooler to maintain freshness and are brought to the farm shop on Friday evening or on Saturday morning.

Order your first box today

I have started to order salad boxes from Bare Acre Farm. It’s simple to set up, and the best thing about it is that I can pause this weekly order whenever I need to. I love that the produce is local and seasonal, and that the deliveries always come with a smile!

Went here for a breakfast bap this morning. My first visit. The bap was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to go back. I also purchased some brown bread which I’ll definitely be back for. Top class.

As Seen on RTÉ’s Ear To The Ground

In October, we had the incredible opportunity to showcase Bare Acre Farm on RTÉ’s Ear To The Ground. The feature highlighted not only the heart and soul of our farm but also the unique perspective and passion that drives us. Farmer Dave shared his personal ADHD journey, offering insight into how he embraces it as his superpower—fueling his creativity, problem-solving, and unstoppable energy.

We were delighted to shine a light on the positives of ADHD and how it shapes our work at the farm, from growing organic produce and flowers to building strong community connections. A huge thank you to everyone who tuned in to learn more about our story! If you missed it, be sure to check it out and discover how ADHD helps make Bare Acre Farm truly unique.
