Bare Acre Farm Produce Boxes

Weekly produce boxes, farm fresh free range eggs, Ber’s homemade bread, jams, preserves, Lynette’s seasonal cut flowers and seasonal produce grown here or sourced from trusted local farms.

In late summer 2024, we were lucky enough to have Richard Stearn on the farm with a film crew to film a segment for the RTE farming program Ear To The Ground. The producers were particularly interested in a blog post which Dave Kavanagh wrote regarding farming with ADHD and describing it as his superpower. You can read the blog post here.

March to November

Beautiful Flowers don't need to cost the earth

Our wild & whimsical farm fresh flowers are harvestedfrom our own fields, glasshouses & tunnels. They change throughout the season from the charm of scented tazetta narcissus, tulips and ranunculus in the spring, right through to our cold tolerant chrysanthemums in November. All our flowers are selected for natural beauty, scent and vase life

Just wanted to share my experience at Bare Acre Farm shop. Back at the start of the summer I was on my way to visit my mother in a nearby nursing home on a lovely Sunday morning. She likes a coffee so I stopped at Bare Acre Farm (1st time there as I didn't normally pass the farm on route) Dave served me and asked me what was i planning for the day and I told him I was on the way to visit my Mum in the Nursing home. As I was leaving he gave me a bunch of flowers to give to my Mum from him and his family. Dave never met me or my mum before...it was just such a lovely thing to do. I now call regularly to Bare Acre Farm... the coffee is great as is all the food and produce but people are what make it. Thanks you.

We live in Skerries and will definitely be your customers from now on. Congratulations on the great care and attention you give to your customers! ☕🍰🌿Agatha was Lovely

Love this farm shop. Veg is really good and the loxal products like the honey are really good. Great place to stop for a cuppa on a walk around the cliffs from Rush North Beach to Loughshinny circuit
