We’ve been wanting to tell you about this for ages, but as the promo dropped today, we finally can. About a month ago, the TV cameras rolled in to the farm to film us for RTE’s Ear To The Ground. We were directed by the fabulously patient Richard Stearn and interviewed by the lovely and very talented Ella McSweeney who did her utmost to put us all at our ease. 

It was both fascinating and utterly terrifying to do our days work in front of cameras. Trying to answer questions without descending into gibberish was a challenge and standing mute with your brain veer off into a hundred different directions seemed to be the order of the day! But despite the nerves and the many retakes, we got there, and after several exhausting hours Richard seemed satisfied with the results.

We’re thrilled and can’t wait to see the farm on the telly on November 21st at 7PM on RTE1, with a repeat on the following Sunday.

We hope all our wonderful customers will tune in to learn a little more about how we farm, how ADHD has become a driving force behind the Bare Acre, and to watch all of us doing our best not to look too silly!
